| What is effective Cellulite Treatment? |
First off let me start by saying, no one is cellulite free. We all have a certain amount of cellulite underneath our skin. Of course some do have more then others, but it's a natural thing for us to have some. In a nut shell cellulite is simple fat deposits held in pockets just below the skin. The form of lipids (fats) below the skin aren't much different then those found elsewhere in the body, how ever it's because they are close to the skins surface that they cause the negative appearance.
So what can you do about cellulite?
Exercise is a viable option for many. Partaking in cardio activities several times a week will help burn fat, and tone the leg muscles. While this method will work for many, often sometimes some women need more then just exercise to help rid themselves of cellulite.
Next on the list is the numerous medical procedures we can have done. From liposuction too vacuum and roller techniques some of these processes can be effective, how ever painful, costly, and have some nasty side effects. For some people this is the only avenue they evaluate for treating cellulite, but they're skipping over what really should be the first attack on cellulite.

With our aging population, cellulite treatment has been receiving more and more attention from cosmetic and supplement manufacturers. Our population is becoming more affluent, and therefore looking for more alternatives then just surgery and exercise to solve cosmetic issues such as cellulite. While like anything new some of these cellulite treatment products work better then others. It's important to do your homework prior to trying one out. While there is minimal if any side effects it's still important to not waste your time on something that isn't going to provide you with results.

| Battle Against Fatigue |
There is no debate over the fact that life is hard, busy, and often exhausting. Many people I know, mothers especially, live day after day with a feeling of fatigue. While I believe that we may never get to a place where we make it through a day without feeling tired, I in no way believe that our lives should be lived with a looming sense of unconquerable fatique. There are a few simple things that I have done to battle against the fatigue that attacks my days.
Battling against fatigue began with taking a serious look at the way I was spending my time. Did my schedule each week reflect the things in life that were most important to me? I looked through my weekly calendar for hours of time that I had wasted or spent on unnecessary things. I quickly saw that my fatigue was coming from trying to do too many things with short amounts of time. I learned that I didn't need to be a part of every committee at my children's school and that I didn't need to volunteer to make desserts for each meeting my husband had. It was frustrating but also freeing to learn that much of my fatigue was brought on by none other than myself.
I'd encourage you to keep track of the ways you spend time for the next couple of weeks. You might be surprised by all of the things crowding your time and causing you fatigue. You'll never be able to battle fatigue unless you see what is causing it.
Another huge thing in my battle against fatigue was choices I was making about my health. I took a serious look at the way I was taking care of my mind and body and I realized quickly that I wasn't doing a very good job. Who wouldn't be tired after weeks of fast food, little exercise and a lot of caffeine? I slowly began to make steps to eating healthier, exercising more, and drinking less caffeine. After just a few weeks I was amazed by the increased level of energy I had and by how much better I was sleeping at the end of each busy day.
What are you doing to take care of your body? Fatigue will hinder every area of your life until you make good choices for yourself. Look for ways to eat fresher, more healthy foods and look to incorporate exercise into your days.
The third thing I did to battle my fatigue was to make a little time in my days for special things that I could enjoy alone. I picked up a few books that I had been wanting to read and I took thirty minutes each day just to read for fun. I began enjoying bubble baths again and I even took up knitting after several years of being too busy. Look for small things you can add to your life to keep your mind at peace.
The battle against fatigue isn't easy, but I promise you that it is a battle well worth winning. |

| Has Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Stopped You Reading? |
Carpal Tunnel can quite literally stop us indulging in one of our favorite pastimes - Reading a book. Holding a book open sometimes for long periods of time becomes so painful that thousands of sufferers decide they have little choice but to refrain. It is often recommended that a well designed book holder is used. This condition is a common disorder that causes pain, and interferes with the use of the hand. It is caused by pressure on the median nerve as the nerve passes through a canal formed by the bones and ligaments in the wrist (the carpal tunnel). A wide variety of conditions can cause the carpal tunnel to narrow and put pressure on the median nerve, including injuries, such as wrist fractures; arthritis complicated by swelling of the tendons in the carpal tunnel; pregnancy, which may cause the synovium around the tendons to thicken; and glandular abnormalities, such as diabetes and thyroid disorders. Work that involves repetitive wrist motions may also cause carpal tunnel syndrome. Symptoms include pain and numbness in the thumb and in the index, middle, and ring fingers. Many people wake at night with these symptoms. Some sufferers experience weakness of hand muscles and may drop objects. Symptoms often occur when the wrist is flexed during such activities as driving a car or holding a book while reading. Doctors treat carpal tunnel syndrome by attempting to improve the underlying condition. In many cases, doctors apply a splint to the wrist and prescribe anti-inflammatory medications. In some cases, surgery is performed to relieve symptoms and to prevent permanent damage to the median nerve. Speaking from experience there is no question that the discomfort and pain is considerable and can stop us doing the most simple tasks, but the repetitive discomfort from holding a book open that is constantly trying to close itself is a big problem. For some people reading is a major part of life both for leisure and at work and can be a favorite pastime for many. A well designed book holder that holds the pages back firmly can be a life changing product in these circumstances and can get sufferers back to the pleasure of reading a book!
